Craving Balance...

Exhaustion and feeling burnt out from life's priorities have left me with no fitness motivation in the past two weeks. Exercising is a big part of my life and usually leaves me feeling balanced (especially when coupled with good nutrition) even when life's hurdles are in the way. I'm determined to return to this balanced state and for me, falling back into the fitness routine is a major stepping stone.

In an effort to regain my "center," I found this motivational video below via SELF Magazine. I'm always game for trying out new routines (unfortunately, I get bored easily if I don't change up my workout lol). This sampling of P90X moves has me pumped! Gotta love the peppy host, as well!



I hope you guys also find the images above inspirational whether in your fitness routine or just life in general:) What are your strategies to beat the workout slump? I would love to hear your suggestions!

  3. <3 that second pic! I just got back into the "zone" so to speak but I am no athlete. Just walking 2+ miles everyday. To beat the slump, I make sure to exercise with someone so I don't have a reason to say "no".

  4. I think the key is just getting that first workout in . . . it's always hard after not working out for awhile, but after I get the first one over with, I'm re-addicted! Great blog!
