Candy Hues

The inspiration behind this editorial hails from the pastel hues of Louis Vuitton, Prada and Jean Paul Gaultier collections. Somehow it’s reminiscent of the Capitol citizens from The Hunger Games. This is just how I imagined their make-up and hair…outrageous, cooky and vibrant. Plus, the indulgent editorial couldn't be more befitting of the Capitol life style. Can you tell I’m obsessed with the trilogy? Hah!

Perhaps it's a sign of aging, but I opted to catch the flick AFTER the opening weekend madness (back in high school, I probably would have been standing in line for the midnight premiere with my fellow teens & tweens lol). The movie was good with a great cast/acting, but personally, the book is much better. More on my love for
The Hunger Games in another post;)

Hope you're all having enjoying the weekend! Any fellow Hunger Games fans out there?

  3. No, this is a sign of aging: I haven't even read the book! :P And is it me or do the editorials from abroad always seem so much cooler? ;D I love that second pic w/ the model looking like she's trying to balance that cake...lol!
